Today has been one of the hardest days I can remember. (Which makes me wonder if they have been a breeze all along?) Our boys have been seemingly unaffected by teething. Never have fussed much about it, we've barely kept up with how many they have or are getting. Mostly we have been surprised to see 2 or 3 new teeth in a mouth because the boys never gave any indication that they were teething.
This time it's different.
Luke is going on day five of barely eating. No matter what meal we have fed him, he immediately has thrown his food on the floor. Today he has been constantly crying with gigantic crocodile tears coming down his beautiful little face. His little fingers have been in his mouth trying to figure out what in there is making him hurt. Both Wyatt and Jaxon are sad to see their brother feeling so down and have been very empathetic, giving Lukey toys to try to make him feel better. Occasionally, Jaxon imitates Lukes cry- I'm not sure if he is imitating for attention or just trying to let Luke know he's not alone. Either way, this mean little tooth has certainly made itself known in our home.

that poor baby!. I hope the nasty tooth comes through soon. Is it one of the molars - I found those are the worst and unfortunately take the longest. Brian was my really bad teether - we knew about EVERY tooth he was getting.
I hope he feels better soon.
Oh, poor guy and poor Mommy! Hang in there!!!
Hi! I just came across your blog and wanted to say how absolutely adorable your boys are! I have an 18 month old who keeps me hopping. I can't imagine having 3! What a challenge and what a blessing at the same time.
Hope that little bugger of a tooth comes in soon!
So sorry to hear that he is having such a hard time. Hang in there as this usually will pass quickly.

I really hate it when those darn teeth decide to come in. It takes WEEKS for Jace's to break through. He's usually cranky, moody and has LOTS of runny diapers.
Good luck, hopefully it will end soon!
Poor little guy...They 2 year molars were the WORST!!! Hang in there, these take a while to all come in.
Hi, have you tried teething tablets?
My daughter used them and they made a big difference!!
Ouch, poor little guy. We haven't had too many troubles with teething, although the molars did cause a bit of discomfort (I think). Whenever our kids would get especially fussy, I would give them some Tylenol to help take off the edge. I never did try teething tablets, but I've heard frozen bananas work well - so that might be something to try if you want to go the non-medicine route.
Good luck, hope he's feeling better soon!
(I will add that the fussiest I've ever seen our babies is when they had Roseola. They were MISERABLE for DAYS. At first I blamed it on teething, and then they broke out in the rash. I hope that's not it for you - but almost all babies get it before they are 2. Or 3.)
