Don's back is hurting him so he has stayed home the past couple days. Yesterday he watched the boys in the morning while I went to check on a
recall for our Jeep.
I was gone a couple hours while the Jeep was getting its new ball joint, and Don decided to be the fun parent. I have always been afraid for our plants and worried
about the boys finding any dog poop, so I have only let them run free in the front yard, or a very small area in the back. Don cleaned the back yard up and let the boys run free. He took out the Kangaroo climber and a couple little outside toys and let the boys enjoy the winter weather. Dad's are so much fun!

Awww, they look like they are having a blast! Don't feel bad, I still don't even let mine outside usually. They are lucky to just get out of the house and get pulled around in their Choo Choo Wagon! I am not ready for complete freedom, yet!
Looks like they were having a blast! I think it's so good for them to get out and get fresh air. So now that the climber is out there...... you can just let them out every morning to run around. Of course not even mine will go out in this weather, but if there's snow tomorrow I will bundle them up and go outside.
Oh and the plants? We don't really have plants anymore. We have twigs that used to be plants. And cacti. They leave those alone. It only takes once to figure out not to mess with those, LOL!
But seriously, there are so many beneficial bacteria in dirt and grass and being outside helps them build immunity to allergens. This helps prevent allergies. Have you ever read the studies where children who grow up on farms or in rural areas are less likely to have asthma? I could go on and on and on, but I'll quit before you fall asleep!!!!
Aww...they are having so much fun out there!!!! I LOVE taking the boys outside to play. The fresh air does EVERYONE good.
